Class Offerings
Class Levels & Special Offerings

Mommy and Me
Toddlers and their caregivers will be delighted to move, interact and
learn in this new class!

Kindergym
Through the use of popular children's music, large motor equipment
and lively instructed activities, children will gain an overall motor
awareness to become success oriented in movement. From the age of
two, these students improve focus!

Combo
Class consists of Tap, Jazz, and Tumbling. Students are generally
below age six.

Creative Movement
This class is designed for the beginner student who wishes to gain
dance technique, while learning movement expression both with
traditional modern aspects and more up to date hip-hop styles.

Hip-Hop
The latest and greatest moves in Hip-Hop and Street Dancing.
Integrating technique along with jumps, leaps, and turns will enable
the student to advance within this discipline.

Jumps, Leaps and Turns
A focused instructional approach to the student who is ready to take
it a step further. Extra practice along with guided corrections will
enable students to make faster and steady gains.

Modern
The art of movement combined with imagery and creative expression
is the foundation of this class. Principles of Modern Dancing and
technical aspects will encourage students to become successful in
Modern Dance while becoming comfortable with ones own style.
Codified styles are incorporated.

Performance Awards (A.A.B.)
Students enrolled in Ballet Classes will have the opportunity/option
of performing, within the studio setting, choreography taught within
each class. At various levels students can earn a bronze, silver, or gold
medal. Scheduled evaluations will be by a judge from the American
Academy of Ballet. More information will be distributed in class.
Non-Performing Team Student may also take part in this program.

Pre-Ballet
A fun and stimulating introduction to Ballet, students begin to learn
terminology, the beginning elements of ballet class, and proper
technique. Below age six. The Enchanted Doorway Program from the
Academy of Dance is implemented into our program. This 20 minute
unique way of acting out a story through dance keeps students
focused and interested.

Pointe
Certain prerequisite skills will be the deciding factor for placement
in this class. Two ballet classes per week need to be taken along with
this class.

Stretch and Conditioning
Classes are geared to increase range of motion and build strength.
The combination of both is emphasized for better overall physical
movement, execution of existing moves and well being.

Adult Classes
Classes are geared to stimulate and challenge the student at
various levels.

Tap / Jazz / Tumbling
Instruction begins with sound technical training advancing through
varied codified styles.

Performing Team
Membership is dependent upon the decision of the teacher and
certain class requirements. Members perform at community func-
tions, area malls, nursing homes and dance competitions. Special
non-required trips may also be planned, such as our Sydney, Olympic,
Hershey Park and Disney performances. The purpose of the team is to
provide entertainment for the community while gaining experiences
in the performing aspects of dance. Refer to Requirement Packet.

Level I
Classes are designed for students with little or no prior
dance experience.

Level II through Advanced
Each level of placement is dependent upon mastery of the previous
level. It is important that students achieve our guidelines of require-
ments for advancement to the next level. Proper body alignment and
proper execution of moves plays an important role on deciding
whether or not students are ready to advance to the next level. It is
important that each student is properly placed in order to receive
the most from each class while being challenged. Students may be
evaluated by a teacher prior to registration.
