NewsSummer 2006 UpdateSummer 2006 was filled with many wonderful and unforgettable experiences! Relocating all classes and lessons to Marlboro has been exciting. The spacious studios and beautiful views from the many windows make learning even more fun! Our Tot Camp was the 1st of our camp weeks. We were amazed at how focused the 3-5 year olds were! They did wonderful taking classes in ballet, tap, jazz, tumbling and creative movement for 2 hours each day! They learned about directions and focused on learning new words and dancing as a group too. They were very polite and even cleaned up after themselves after snack!
Camp weeks for the 6-8 & 9-12 year olds focused on learning proper placement and new skills. At the end of the week, students demonstrated their own choreography. They did a great job and they were fun to watch! Our final week of camp was HOT - HOT - HOT! Senior and advanced students worked it! They wanted a challenge and got it! They were also amazing in demonstrating their own choreography. Congratulations to this group for taking camp and (to most of them) for returning at night for Team Rehearsals.in 100 degree weather - with 1 air conditioner... not quite doing it's job. As this is being written, central air is being installed! The dedication of our students during that week was commendable! Some great Summer moments.
Performing Team students are hard at work learning all new choreography for the upcoming season. The new numbers are coming along great! We look forward to performing them for you! See their sneak preview at Open House! Thank you to our student summer assistants! Kerstin * Nicholas * Megan * Joseph Also: Miss Nichole Archived Stories |
